Balancing a full-time career with the demands of a busy family proved daunting at times as Joanne strived to excel as a professional and mother. Although she had a beautiful family and successful career, she experienced overwhelming, guilt about not being the “perfect mother,” unfulfillment and illness. These obstacles led her on a journey of self-discovery. As she searched for a bit of peace, quiet and emotional relief, she discovered a new-found purpose and passion in her life. Her commitment to changing her thought patterns, being mindful, and starting a daily meditation practice caused a positive shift in her life, she now feels called to share what she has learned with others.
Joanne is now coaching, implementing a mindfulness program in her workplace and facilitates workshops to spread the impactful message of attention and intention. She is currently training to become a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher, as well as Breathwork teacher and is passionate about helping other professionals and mothers to find balance, peace and passion in their lives.
